Is it a real cracked egg? The main ingredient of 'salmon injection' examined in the paper

Hello. I'm a pharmacist Jinny.
I think many people are interested in how you can recreate your skin like a freshly peeled boiled egg, or a smooth, porcelain-like skin that fills up from the inside out after thirty.
One of the most popular treatments in Korea and abroad for skin regeneration is the so-called "salmon injection," which uses salmon DNA. It is a treatment that is gaining popularity as word of mouth spreads that it is effective for skin texture, pores, redness, and elasticity.
Today, we would like to take a look at the benefits of the skin of the DNA extracted from the key ingredient of this salmon injection, salmon testes (wolves), through a paper.
1. Improves blemishes, pores, wrinkles, and irregularities
When you are in your teens and 20s, you don't pay much attention to it, but in your late 20s and early 30s, you become very interested in skin elasticity. The main reason for the loss of skin elasticity with age has been the deterioration of the skin's ability to regenerate, that is, the ability to produce cells. This led to research into whether the core blueprint for building cells, the supplementation of DNA, could help with skin elasticity and regeneration. In particular, the DNA extracted from the testes of salmon is very similar to the DNA extracted from the human liver, which has attracted attention as a potential new material.
In 2008, the Japanese journal Cosmetic Stage published the results of a clinical study that evaluated the effects of treatment of salmon DNA on skin conditions [1].
"It has been recognized that 4 weeks of consumption of salmon DNA-na reduces the appearance of dark spots, pores, wrinkles, and irregularities in the skin."
2. Improves skin elasticity
As a result of the accumulation of scientific studies that the treatment of salmon DNA can have a significant effect on the improvement of human skin condition, new studies have been conducted to re-examine the indicators measured in previous studies. In particular, studies on the 'elasticity' of the skin, which determines pores, wrinkles, and irregularities, were the mainstay.
In 2010, the International Journal of Cosmetic Science published the results of a clinical trial that evaluated the effects of treatment of salmon DNA on skin conditions [2].
"The elasticity of the skin has improved significantly. (Omitted) As a result of the survey, more than 90% of the subjects reported an improvement in the roughness of their skin."
3. Stimulates the production of hyaluronic acid
In the aforementioned study, we confirmed that the treatment of salmon DNA had a significant effect on improving skin condition through human application tests, and then conducted a study to identify the mechanism. This study reveals the mechanisms by which salmon DNA works to improve skin condition as follows [3.
"These results show that salmon DNA-Na stimulates the production of hyaluronic acid in human dermal fibroblasts. Overall, the data from this study suggest that salmon DNA-Na may improve skin condition."
This is a brief overview of the main functions of salmon DNA, which have been verified by the scientific community.
I hope you have a healthy day in body and mind. It was Jinny.
