What is the true nature of "this lactic acid bacteria" that is good for the skin?

1. Improves
skin moisture content2. Improves
skin elasticity3. Improves skin wrinkles

Hello. I'm a pharmacist Jinny.

Today, I would like to introduce you to a new lactic acid bacteria. It's called Lactobacillus plantarum HY7714. It has been found to be beneficial not only for intestinal health but also for skin health, and has been recognized by the Ministry of Food and Drug Safety as an "individually recognized probiotic ingredient for skin health functionality." In a word, it is a smart lactic acid bacterium that can enjoy the effect of two stones.

In human trials, HY7714 has been shown to significantly improve skin health indicators, especially those related to moisturization, elasticity, and wrinkles. Now, let's take a look at the details with me.

1. Improves skin moisture content

Even in the middle of summer, some people may have particularly dry skin, such as chapped areas around the lips. Especially as we age, the function of the sebaceous glands, which retain moisture in the skin, decreases, making the skin more prone to dryness.

A 2015 study in the Journal of Microbiology and Biotechnology showed that the probiotic HY7714 improved the moisture content of the skin of the face and hands.

"At weeks 1 and 2, water retention in the face and hands was significantly higher in the probiotic HY7714 group than in the placebo group."

2. Improves skin elasticity

When we see that pillow marks or sock marks don't go away, we realize that our skin is losing elasticity.

The aforementioned study also reported that the probiotic HY7714 also helped with skin elasticity, with the following results:

"Although there was a gradual increase in skin elasticity in both groups during the study period, the degree of improvement at weeks 4 and 12 was significantly higher in the probiotic HY7714 group compared to the placebo group."

3. Improves skin wrinkles

Skin wrinkles are caused by alterations in proteins in the dermis layer, such as collagen and elastin, as aging progresses. In particular, free radicals produced by ultraviolet rays, smoking, and stress accelerate the denaturation of these proteins.

In the same study, the probiotic HY7714 was associated with a significant improvement in the appearance of skin wrinkles.

"The reductions in Ra (arithmetic mean of the maximum height of the skin folds within the total measurement length), Rmax (the maximum value of the height-to-bone depth values of all skin folds measured over the assessed length) and Rv (the maximum bone depth of the skin folds) were significantly greater in the probiotic HY7714 group than in the placebo group at 12 weeks."

Today, we've looked at the many benefits of taking the probiotic HY7714. In order to prevent skin aging and maintain its health, it is important to maintain daily habits, so please stay away from free radicals as much as possible and avoid excessive irritation when wearing impressions or washing your face.

I hope you have a healthy day in body and mind. It was Jinny.
